Shipping & Delivery

Where we ship?

All our items are exclusive to Tasmania. Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to any other Australian state or international location. We require a street address for delivery – unfortunately we cannot deliver to a P.O Box. Some remote locations cannot be serviced; however LSW carrier may be able to deliver to a local depot for your collection. Unusual deliveries can be arranged by contacting us.

How long it will take?

Once your order has been shipped for delivery, you will receive shipment notification email with an estimated delivery date depending on your location and the method of delivery. Most deliveries will take approx 1-7 business days and an ETA will be provided upon order confirmation. Shipment ETA is approx; please note some unforseen factors may cause the delivery to be delayed (i.e truck break downs, natural disasters).

Services used to ship?

Most Items will be shipped via Australia post unless the item is too large or in the local area, it will then be sent via a courier.

How much will it cost?

Delivery charges are calculated on a per order basis and according to the weight and size of your purchase and delivery address. If you would like an estimated cost of delivery, please put the item into your shopping bag and proceed to check out, this will bring up the option to enter your postcode and will provide you with the options of delivery and charges. Click back if you do not wish to proceed with the order.

Tracking an order?

Once you’ve placed an order you will receive an order confirmation and number to confirm your order details, including shipping and delivery estimates for each item. Once your order has been shipped you will receive a shipment confirmation email with chosen carrier and tracking number/information. You can also contact us via phone or email to follow up on any order.

Problems with your order and/or any questions?

We want you to have the best shopping experience, so if you have any enquiries or problems with your order, questions or your delivery has not arrived in the estimated time frame, please contact our customer service team by phone or email. Store pick up?

If you place an order online and would like to pick it up from our store, simply select the in store pick up option when completing the check out process. No delivery charges will apply. Once your order has been paid and processed, you’ll receive the confirmation email. When your order is ready for collection you’ll receive a phone call and email informing you your order is ready. When you go into the store to collect your order, be sure to have your order confirmation or number and a valid ID.

Returns & Replacements

Leighton Springworks Suspension & Engineering & TJM want you to be totally satisfied with our products.

Some Key Points from our Returns Policy:

  • Purchases made through our store should be returned to our store.
  • All online purchases must be returned to Leighton Springworks. Please liase with us by phone 03 63449744 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm AEST (Tasmania) Monday to Friday.
  • The cost of returning an item to us is the sole responsibility of the customer, for online purchases we will pay for return freight for any product assessed as having a major failure.

Leighton Springworks Suspension & Engineering would like to remind you that the benefits given by our Returns Policy are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law.

We offer you a replacement, credit or refund where products have a major failure, such as:

  • When they are faulty
  • Wrongly described

Where to return a product purchased online?

Where to return a product purchased instore?

Please contact us on 03 6344 9744 for us to determine the nearest store that will accept the product.

What information is needed to complete your return?

  • Purchase receipt
  • Product in the same condition as it was purchased (including manuals, accessories and packaging)
  • Provide your name, telephone number and signature in addition to your receipt.
  • All purchases made on a debit/credit card will be credited back to the original card used, so for in-store returns please have your card with you.

Don't have a receipt?

If you don’t have a receipt, we ask for your photo identification showing your name, address and signature. You can help us determine proof of purchase by providing a bank statement or similar. Consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time period and can vary from product to product depending on factors such as the nature of goods, price and statements made on packaging and product labels. Our store managers and owners can assist you with further information about the warranty period for the product you return.

Expenses: Any expenses relating to the return of your product to a TJM store will normally have to be paid by you. For online store purchases, we will pay for return freight for any product assessed as having a major failure.

Assessing your return

Assessment of your product: We may need to conduct an assessment of your product to determine whether a repair, replacement or refund is appropriate. Certain technical products may need to be sent to the manufacturer or their repair agent for assessment, such as electrical and motor driven products.

Special procedures for certain products

Repair Notice: The repair of your goods may result in the loss of user-generated data. Please ensure that you have made a copy of any data saved on your goods. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.

Bulky products: For safety reasons, please contact us before returning any bulky products, such as Bull Bars.

Exclusions: In some cases a refund, replacement, or repair may not be offered if you: Substantially modify the product; Misuse the product contrary to user instructions or packaging labels; or simply change your mind.

Certain products are excluded under our Returns Policy unless they are faulty, these include: Tailor made customer orders;

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
